Artist Creates Astonishing Alien: Covenant Flipbook-Inspired Animation

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it now, and I’ll say it again probably a million times more during my life: I absolutely love the creativity that people possess. No matter what it is that someone is passionate about, if they put their energy towards something exciting that they love, it’s inevitable that there will be an obviously passionate end result.

To prove this, allow me to introduce you to Singaporean artist Serene Teh, who makes rather astonishing flipbook-esque art pieces. Now, I say “esque” because these flipbooks aren’t confined to one booklet. Rather, they explode from one piece of paper to the next, shifting horizontally and vertically to truly capture a sense of energy and movement.

Using this technique, Teh created a sequence that involves a Xenomorph bursting from a person’s chest and going on a killing spree. It’s absolutely magnificent in its presentation and I couldn’t be more impressed with all the work that obviously went into creating such a piece!
